WOAH can you believe it’s Mother’s Day already!?!?

Ok, if it’s Sunday morning right now (or even if you are reading this on Saturday) then don’t even worry about it…. Got you covered on a cute-handmade-from-the-heart-try-and-make-your-mum-cry-because-she-loves-you-so-much card. But this is a card with a difference, because it’s in 3D!

First up grab yourself a template which you can find by clicking HERE! Print it off, and stick it to a piece of card. Then fold it up into a cube!! You can use sticky tape if you find it easier than glue (I definitely did!) as it doesn’t matter because you are going to chuck photos on anyway. Make 9 of these cubes.

Next up grab a photo of your Mum, or your family. You need to print this out 6 TIMES to cover all the sides of the cubes . (I used a 4cm by 4cm cube, so make sure when you go to print your photo, that it’s 12cm by 12cm). Feel free to make your photo look more special with glitter, speech bubbles, stickers, anything that you like! Next cut up the photos into 9 little squares, and stick the photos onto the cubes using a glue stick.

Now all you gotta do is solve the puzzle to reveal the picture. Hope your Mum likes it, Happy Mother’s Day!

Oh hey!

Man how awesome are the holidays? It’s so good, you get to chill at home all day and eat everything out of the pantry and have late nights all the time and just have fun 24/7. TOTAL WIN. Happy sigh.

So with the cold weather creeping it’s way in, we thought this week’s show should be all about things you can do in the holidays… whether it’s cold or hot, inside or outside. We are giving away some awesome MGP Scooters (which are more an outside activity I think haha) but here is an indoor scooter idea!

FINGER SCOOTER.

First up grab a paperclip, some beads, and some gaffa tape (Dads usually have some in the garage… oh and Dad if you’re reading this, sorry I borrowed your tape!) I’ve opted to use the GIANT paper clip rather than just the normal sized which you can get from any stationary shop for super cheap.

Next, thread your beads along the paper clip to make the front and the back wheels. Bend the sticky out bit of the paper clip upwards for your handlebar, and add a normal sized paper clip to this for the handles.

Now it’s time to make your scooter look pretty! (Or manly if that’s more your thing…namely if you are a boy and not that keen for love hearts!) I used a bunch of coloured paper, stickers, and the wee coloured bits of paper from a party popper. Yeah that’s right it’s going to be a rainbow party on a scooter.

And now for the finished product…. BOOM a finger scooter. I printed myself out a mini Ronnie to be my Pro-Rider….. dare you to print your Nana out for your one!

It’s Wednesday!!

HEY, but just want to say… I hope you had the best Easter weekend of your life ever! Man, the sun was shining all over the country, extra long weekend, heaps of chocolate, you can’t really go wrong can you? Over the weekend we took Layla to the beach, she didn’t like the water but she did like the sand. In her mouth. She’s a crazy girl haha. I also made a heap of mini donuts, and they didn’t taste half bad. (Have been watching way too many cooking shows and getting inspired, especially that My Kitchen Fools… good looking judges.)

Oh also, if you’re a Jamie McDell fan then you don’t want to miss this Sunday! Jamie’s coming to perform for us and give us all the deets on her quest for her most talented fan, exciting!

Oh hey!

Hope you are having an amazing week… only one day to go and then it’s the weekend! Now THAT is exciting.

HOLY TOAST CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT NEXT WEEK IS EASTER?!

Is it just me, or does time seem to go faster and faster and faster and faster and fasterand fasterandfasterandfasterANDFASTERANDFASTER every year? Crazy.

Well, since it’s Easter… I’m writing with some sweet news. See this photo? We have ALL OF THOSE EGGS (and no I’m not talking about Toby, although he is an egg) to give away to one lucky person on next week’s show! All you have to do is guess how many eggs are in there.

Yummm. Whoever wins this is going to have a lot of friends this Easter, so get guessing people!

OH HEY!

How have you been? I hope you have been awesome, because you ARE awesome. Your Mum told me.

Ok so this has been a massive week in the history of What Now’s 32 years…. BECAUSE WE GOT A PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a VERY big deal and we are all so excited… here she is on her first day in the office….

Adam doesn’t like that photo so don’t tell him I uploaded it hahaha. It’s just a miracle we got one with puppy looking at the camera! She is pretty good at being cute, it’s a talent of hers.
So far we have had to do a LOT of poop and widdle cleaning up. Toilet training is a mission huh. If you have any tips for me flick me an email to hi@whatnow.tv
Oh wow. You’re not going to believe this. A disgusting gassy smell just filled the room… yup she has done it again. MASSIVE DOG POOP. Better go clean it up, it’s my turn today. GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

OH HEY OH MY GOSH HI HELLO GREETINGS KIA ORA GOOD MORNING GOOD AFTERNOON AND GOOD EVENING!

Firstly I must apologise for my lack of blogging. How slack of me….Happy 2013!! (Is it too late to say that in Febuary?)

NEWSFLASH! This year the show starts at 7am… So if you’re one of those early risers (like all of us here at What Now) then you can hang with us from 7 for our bonus hour. (Which will have sweet cartoons and you can score a Goodiebag just by watching, too easy!)

Ok so I have some other big news… over Summer I got a makeover. Cut my hair a bit different, and didn’t shave my face for a little bit. This is the result, hope you like it.

Ok stop the press….. this video is AMAZING!

But here’s where it gets even crazier, all of the dancers in this video are deaf! The people in white are their trainers who are counting the beats for them visually, since they can’t hear them. Proving that you should never ever let something hold you back huh.
